About Lucy

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary through high school students in Math, English, Science, and test preparation, I prioritize building confidence over rote memorization. I cultivate an engaging, patient environment by observing how you interact with new material and adapting my methods to your unique needs. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting lessons to your personal interests, I make challenging concepts feel attainable. I believe open communication with both you and your parents is essential to fostering a collaborative, successful learning journey. Watching your confidence soar as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I am truly passionate about helping you discover your own love for learning.
