About Lucy

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, and honest. I like tutoring because teaching kids how to learn increases their self-confidence and motivation to find out more. I love that I get to help them discover what sparks their curiosity. I'm looking for a job that I get build a one-on-one connection with my student to help them achieve their goals through out their course curriculum from the subject matters' learning, studying, and testing points. In my spare time, I like to play Magic: The Gathering, rock climbing at a gym, and practicing photography. One thing you should know about me is I am deaf. I wear a hearing aid and cochlear implant to help me hear as well as lip read. I am currently learning ASL as well. Please let me know if you have any questions about it!
