Hello! My name is Lucy and I am a recent graduate of the University of Rochester. There, I obtained a B. A in Anthropology. I graduated a semester early and finished with a 3. 81 Cumulative GPA. More importantly, I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. Since then, I have babysat children with a wide range of ages, needs and temperaments. I really enjoy babysitting because I enjoy establishing a genuine rapport with the children I watch. Kids are sometimes treated by adults as if they do not know anything. In my experience, I've never met a kid who didn't teach me something, or a kid who didn't have complex thoughts, feelings, or aspirations. I had the great fortune of having really great babysitters throughout my own childhood and the prospect of being able to provide the same for families who need reliable child care is very moving to me.
