About Lucy

I'm thrilled to share I've been working with children for the past 20 years in a range of settings, starting with babysitting and continuing through roles focused on child development and care. I studied psychology at Pitt, where I worked in an early childhood development research lab, and later became a behavioral therapist supporting children on the autism spectrum. Most recently, I spent five years nannying for a family with two boys and helped care for their newborn. I'm experienced with all ages, from providing a nurturing and attentive environment for infants to encouraging creativity and independence in older children. I love creating fun, engaging days filled with learning and imagination. I'm fluent in American Sign Language and would love to teach your child if interested! I enjoy arts and crafts, Legos, exploring outdoors, finding geocaches, and creating scavenger hunts. I also love storytelling, wordplay, and making up silly games that keep kids laughing!
