About Lucelena

Hi! My name is Lucelena, and I'm a 29-year-old mother of two. With both of my children starting school and a 50/50 custody schedule, I'm excited to spend my free time caring for other families. I am a science major working toward becoming an optometrist, with coursework in biology, developmental psychology, child development, and early childhood education. These studies have given me a strong understanding of how children learn and grow. I've been caring for children since I was 13 years old, first helping with younger family members and later caring for friends' children. As a mother myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave your children with someone else. I am dependable, active, organized, and attentive to detail. I believe childcare is about more than supervision-it's about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, valued, and supported. I respect each family's routines, follow instructions carefully, and communicate openly with parents.
