Hi Families! I have over 15 years of professional experience in childcare as a nanny and household manager and am seeking 30-35ish guaranteed hours/wk, within about 30 mins from Detroit. I am passionate about the work I do and my childcare philosophy centers around open communication, compassion, safety, and honoring the unique qualities every child possesses. As I tailor my days to the individual needs and interests of the kiddos in my care, there isn't necessarily a "typical day", but here are some favorite activities to give you an idea of how I engage with children: -Hikes + Nature Walks -Arts + Crafts in just about any form -Lots of reading and trips to the library (: -Imaginary play, singing and dance parties I'm CPR/First-aid certified, a non-smoker/vaper, fully vaccinated, and happy to do tasks above and beyond childcare (and related cleaning) like deeper cleaning, meal prep/cooking, running errands and pet care.
