About Lo

I have been caring for children since I was 12, babysitting my own siblings and other kids in my neighborhood. During my undergraduate education, I obtained training on how to work with children and adults who have special needs and also began tutoring both children and adults. I strongly believe in nurturing curiosity, helping people learn how to problem solve, and setting people up for success in their endeavors. Learning new skills and knowledge has always been a passion of mine -- one that I hope to help others with, as well. Now that I have obtained my M. S. in Cell & Molecular Biology from Michigan State, I hope to help others at any age or stage in life pursue an education by helping them understand concepts they may struggle with and/or providing extra support outside the classroom.
