About Susannah

I love kids! They are truly the spice of life. I have been around kids as long as I can remember. From playing with kids at church, babysitting jobs, to working in two different child care centers and earning my degree in Child Development, I have had quite a bit of experience working with children in my 26 years of life. The past two years, I have been working as a teacher's assistant/paraprofessional in a local school district. My first year, I was an assistant preschool teacher in a preschool classroom in an elementary school. I learned a lot in behavioral management through this job. I am a laid-back person and I love to have fun and be silly, but I also realize how important it is for children to learn boundaries and how to behave at a young age. Last year, I worked in a kindergarten classroom as a one-on-one aide for 2 kids with special needs. I absolutely LOVED it! And this past summer, I was a camp coordinator for summer day camp at the YMCA. I learned and grew SO much through this job. Working with my kids last year in the kindergarten classroom and this past summer as a camp coordinator at the YMCA were my favorite jobs that I've ever had. I just loved what I was doing so much! I'm a lot of fun, I love kids and people, and I just love life. Contact me!
