About Lorra

I'm an experienced middle school math teacher (currently teaching 7th-8th grade, going into my fifth year) and have spent several years working with kids in both classroom and enrichment settings. During college, I taught with Breakthrough for four years, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting students with different learning styles. I also worked at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, which reflects my love for curiosity, learning, and helping kids explore the world around them. I genuinely love working with kids and aim to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment. I enjoy being outside, singing, and staying active--and I bring that energy into how I interact with children. I also have a dog, so I'm very comfortable around pets! I'd describe my personality as energetic, compassionate, and transparent.
