About Lorraine

Since graduating with my bachelor's degree in Criminology, with minors in Sociology and Chemistry, I have continued pursuing my passion for education and helping students succeed. With two years of tutoring experience, I specialize in Math, Science, English, and Test Preparation for elementary through high school students. I create a patient, engaging learning environment by breaking down complex concepts and adapting lessons to each student's unique learning style and interests. I value open communication with families and strive to build students' confidence, critical thinking skills, and academic independence. Whether tutoring in person or online, my goal is to make learning approachable, rewarding, and enjoyable. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a student's confidence grow when a challenging concept finally clicks!
