About Lorien

Hi, my name is Lorien! I am a local artist and single parent to my 3-year-old and our kitty cat. I've lived in New Orleans my whole life and I have an extensive education in fine art, film, and photography. I have years of practical experience with children of all ages, including neurodivergent children. You will find me very patient, nurturing, and willing to get on a child's level to understand them. I rely on my instincts with kids and I am influenced by montessori principles. I am most passionate about combining my love of art and caretaking. Imagine taking regular trips to art museums, learning to draw from life, or telling stories through images. There are so many ways creativity can help you find your voice and learn to connect with the world around you. I welcome opportunities to share that experience with others.
