Well, my girls will be going off to college soon so I have free time now. Since I have thoroughly enjoyed being a stay home mom for the last 17 years, I am ready to help with your child (or children). My girls have their own transportation, jobs and activities outside of high school so they don't need me like they did in previous years. I don't believe a child should ever be spanked. Instead, good communication as well as lots of love and consistent boundaries helped them become very responsible and well adjusted. Very limited TV time and no video games means more reading, games, play time, and homework time. I am a safe driver, good cook, and worked as an ICU nurse before my children were born. That's a unique skill set that younger sitters won't have to offer.
