Lora is the most capable caregiver I have ever met - and I would know. I'm a registered nurse AND we have been through many different caregivers for Mom at home. She is worth $25/hour. She can jump right in and do anything. She is likely one of the top percent of caregivers on this site. She is very professional, trained in best practices, pleasant, and kind. She has initiative and good sense. She is a good listener, has empathy, and seems very safe. She has good boundaries. She will speak up if something seems wrong or not safe. I feel comfortable leaving my helpless Mom with her. We did have an in-person interview before hiring her, and she did show up on time. I would definitely hire her again. The only downside is that we wanted to use the Care.com program to pay our caregivers and she prefers a different way.
