I'm Lori! I've worked in the medical field since 1981, first in hospital settings (ER, surgical pre/post, and burn unit), then as a medical assistant in private practice. Private duty caregiving experience includes in-home care for a patient with MS and for various families whose elders had dementia. I am single and have two grown children. I love animals and the Chiefs! I'd describe my personality as down-to-earth, empathetic, and funny. All the families I've worked for are still close friends. I enjoy caring for seniors because I learn so much while spending time with them--hearing about their life experiences, getting to know the families and being of service. It feels good to be able to help in whatever way I can. I'm looking for weekend work, as I work during the week as a medical assistant.
