About Sheryl

I'm a recently retired registered nurse with 45 years of experience and a Master's degree in Nursing. Over my career I've worked in many areas of healthcare including ICU, charge nurse leadership, teaching nursing students, and more than 10 years in home health. Caring for people has always been my passion. I'm also the mother of five grown children and a very proud grandmother, so family means everything to me. Friends, coworkers, and patients have always described me as kind, compassionate, and easy to talk to, and I've been honored with awards for both nursing care and being especially personable. I'd love to help families by checking in on loved ones, taking basic vitals, helping with medications, running errands, accompanying them to appointments, or simply providing companionship. I'm flexible and available for a few hours a week or a couple full days. And fair warning -- I may share a story or two about my grandson!
