About Lora

I am a certified reading teacher in grades k-12. I have been teaching for almost 30 years. I am trained in reading revives and multi-sensory reading programs. I'd describe my personality as caring, sweet, and friendly. I like tutoring because I love helping children. It is very rewarding to see children grow and flourish in a one to one setting. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and is close to my home. I am available weekday mornings over the summer. I started tutoring when I was in high school. In my spare time, I like to garden and spend time with my dogs and children. One thing you should know about me is that I am a mother as well. My skills include teaching reading, writing, and test taking strategies.
