About Elise

Hello! I have nine years experience teaching and am looking for tutoring opportunities to continue sharing my love of learning with children. I have worked as an elementary school special education teacher and reading specialist, and middle school reading intervention teacher. I served as a dyslexia specialist in the middle school and am trained in the Orton Gillingham approach, as well as the Wilson Reading program. Over the years, I have tutored after school for many grade levels. I specialize in literacy and individualized instruction, and have my masters degree in reading & literacy, birth - 12th grade. I would love an opportunity to work with your child, create a genuine connection, and improve academic skills!
