About Lonnique

I'm an Instructional Aide at a local school and work with kids in grades K-8. I work with Special Needs students but also work with typical students in our classrooms. For the past year, I've worked closely with students who need help with reading comprehension, math and Spanish. I'm at an intermediate level in Spanish, about 50% fluent, so I'd work well with beginning to intermediate Spanish learners. I'm passionate about helping kids with their self-esteem. I think it's important that kids know that they are special and that every one of us has special talents that are worth sharing. My major at University was Theatre, so I also help out students who are interested in the Arts. I've taught acting, audition skills, voice and some dance.
