I have had a year of experience working with special needs children and individuals from working at Fort Monroe Army Base in VA. I assist with a variety of conditions. I provide structured supervision and fun activities. In addition to working with special needs, I am also a certified Personal Care Assistant. I understand how difficult it is to have a loved one diagnosed with special needs because I was also a special needs individual in my childhood who suffered from speech difficulties. I understand how to effectively communicate with the blind, speech impaired, and patients suffering with learning disabilities. I am easy to get along with and willing to learn how to care for your loved one. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I also have experience with food allergies, and special diets. I have over 6 years of experience working in a variety of food services establishments and restaurants. Diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
