About Liz

I enjoy working with kids because I love being apart of bringing joy into their childhood and helping them learn. I think it's exciting to see them grow and develop personalities and learn to be their own people. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and part time. I started working with kids when I was about 14 as simple babysitting jobs but I have been working at a preschool as a teacher for some time now. In my spare time, I like to play guitar and piano as well as reading or anything crafty/ creative. My skills include child development knowledge, gross motor and fine motor based play/ lessons, and emotional regulation. Since working at a preschool I have worked with ages 1-4 and in each class room we work on different skills depending on what stage of development each child is in. I have also learned to adapt and learn each child when they are having meltdowns and what they need in that moment and how to help them learn to regulate themselves
