About Bekah

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, empathetic and compassionate. I like working with kids because play is our first language. It keeps the fun and wonder present in life. I'm looking for a job that centers connections with self and others. One where learning and exploring and growing happen. I started working with kids when I was around the age of 8 years old. I'm the oldest of four and I was always watching and supervising and playing with my younger siblings and their friends while we were growing up. I've also worked as a nanny and in daycares. In my spare time, I like to go for nature walks, read, practice yoga, and visit new places. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice. I am looking for part time work to assist families on the weekends. My skills include emotional intelligence and regulation, relational awareness and mindfulness. I enjoy being present and observing the world around me.
