About Liz

I recently retired after a fulfilling 30 year career teaching fourth grade students at Baucom Elementary in Apex where I developed patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. My passion for helping others extends beyond the classroom, and I'm now looking to support seniors with the same care and attentiveness I gave my students. I bring reliability, compassion, a calm presence, sense of humor, and I'm eager to make a positive difference in someone's daily life. My goal is to foster well-being and independence in those I care for. I am friendly and approachable. I prioritize earning trust and adapting to changing routines. I can de-escalate stressful situations and handle confusion. I provide companionship and transportation, run errands, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping. I provide regular updates to families via text or phone call, always following their preferred method. I am eager to bring my skills and caring nature to your family.
