Hi there! I'm Lis (they/them) and I'm a non-binary birth and postpartum doula currently based in Brooklyn, NY. I'm relocating to Philly in January of 2025, and am looking forward to exploring a new city! Aside from doula work, I have 4 years of nannying experience and 2 years of experience teaching dance to children with extra needs. I feel comfortable nannying children of any age, but I'd say that newborns, infants, and toddlers are my specialty. I'm experienced in newborn and infant care thanks to my work as a daytime and overnight postpartum doula. Similarly, I'm more than happy to help out with light housework, errands, taking children to and from school/extra curricular activities, as well as assisting with homework. I hired Lis after speaking with her on the phone. I needed someone for short term help as I was having medical issues. Her duties were to pick up my kids from school, meal prep, homework help, and take them to after school activities. She was sweet warm and caring. I found her to be very trustworthy and easy going. She even helped to take care of me, did the laundry and cleaned up after the day. The kids really liked her, she played board games and Just Dance after homework was done and I was happy to hear a lot of laughter in the house. She's a good catch!
