About Tessa

Tessa provided overnight doula care for our newborn son during his first 2 months. As first-time parents navigating those early weeks — including bringing our son home after a short NICU stay — her care was comforting and reassuring. She brought knowledge, patience, and calmness to the nights, thoughtfully answering our questions and easing our anxieties with explanations, practical guidance, and specific product recommendations. Tessa provided hands-on guidance, from recognizing signs of discomfort, to soothing a fussy baby, and of course, letting us catch up on sleep. As a lactation consultant, she was especially helpful in providing support around breastfeeding, pumping, and breastmilk management. She also consistently checked in on my recovery following a C-section, showing genuine care and attentiveness to both our baby and us as new parents. She was communicative and flexible when schedule adjustments were needed. Having Tessa care for our son during those first months gave us much-needed rest, and we are grateful for her expertise and support.
