About Lisa

I have cared for children since I was a teen. I found early in life that children respond welll to me. I have been an early childhood teacher for 20 years and I have worked with all age from birth to seven. I am trained as a Waldorf early childhood teacher. Self- initiated play, time playing in nature away from screens, imaginative stories and puppets, and practical and artistic work are all part of my philosophy as a caregiver and teacher. I have raised two sons who are now successful, happy adults. I currently work as a mentor part time, developing and guiding new teachers.
