Even though I had my first child at age 32, my husband and I have a dozen, now aged 19 to 38. We have 4 bio kids, and I started doing foster care when my husband was deployed: we adopted 8. I have a Master's degree in Youth Development, and have worked as a nanny, at a preschool, and as a middle school math teacher. We bought our retirement home here in rural Alabama 7 years ago, and I would like to make a little extra money for some upkeep and repairs. I enjoy being around young people, and have no grandchildren on the horizon, so I would love to put down roots here and make a difference.
