I obtained my CNA certificate when I was 17 and began working in a long term care facility. I opted to work on the Alzheimer's unit and became certified by the American Alzheimer's Association. After many years of working in long term care, I decided to take a long term leave. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we decided to take care of her at home. After she passed away, I decided to get my EMT certification to work on the side part time. I currently have 1 lady I care for in Taylor 3 days a week. I do not mind doing light housework, cooking, and transportation
