About Lisa

I love working with children and I love reading. The combination of working with children and helping them overcome reading challenges has been one of the joys of my life for the last 20 years. I use a systematic approach and build solid ground in the basic foundations of reading. Most children, with a solid mastery of foundational skills grow in confidence and are able to move forward in reading proficiency. In addition, I love to teach reading with engaging games and activities. I tailor my approach to fit your child's unique needs. I believe that celebrating small successes and maintaining open, consistent communication with families creates the best environment for growth. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local coffee shop, I am committed to making our sessions engaging and supportive.
