About Lisa

Hello, thanks for checking out my profile! My goal as a recreational therapist is to assist clients in maintaining autonomy and independence through companionship by engaging in a wide variety of activities of interest. I've led senior exercise groups, bingo, cards, board games, art and music. I've done many trips to museums, ball games, the zoo, parks and picnics, restaurants, movies, and errands. For those who love kids, I enjoy bringing either one or both of my young children to visit. I used to be a teacher's assistant before being a recreational therapist and I've found that working with seniors is what derives the most joy for me. I love conversing and reminiscing and I appreciate all the jokes and lessons seniors provide at any moment.
