About Lisa

As a mom, teacher, teaching artist and more, I have cared for kids of all ages in a wide variety of settings. I'm available full or part-time, occasional sick/school vacation days, and also up for a unique/unconventional position-homeschool nanny, nanny share, etc. My own kiddo (who is 22 now-time flies!) is AuHD, and I love being a supportive presence for neurodiverse/special needs families. My family recently moved back to the area, and I'm loving being back in my hometown-swimming, walking my Pittie, Mackinaw on Mama Superior, and digging in my garden. I've taught and subbed in public and Montessori schools, have been a camp counselor, arts & crafts director, before & after school programs supervisor, and an intern at the U. P. Children's Museum. My strengths are creating engaging environments, peaceful daily rhythms, and gentle one-to-one relationships. I love the magic of home life and childhood, and look forward to using my lifetime of experience to support your family.
