About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophie and I'm 22. I enjoy anything outdoors, but especially camping and fishing. I love crafts, baking, music, and spending time with my friends and family. I spent the past two years working as a paraprofessional. I worked one-on-one with 3 different nonverbal autistic students. I was responsible for visual directives, schedules, communication devices, maintaining regulation, following IEP's, social skill support, and advocating. During that time, I have been working on my Early Childhood Education associates degree. I am 80% complete with the program. I do have a certificate for teaching birth thru 2! I worked as a CNA for 3 years. I was responsible for medication management, ADL's, meal prep/clean up, and physical/emotional support. I was previously a lifeguard, but my CPR certification is not active. I spent time working in a daycare my junior and senior year of high school.
