About Lisa

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I have learned a lot caring for my 86-year-old mother who has dementia. I believe in providing compassionate support and improving quality of life for our seniors. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to enrich a person's quality of life and provide support the family around them. I started caring for seniors when my mother started showing signs of dementia 10 years ago. In my spare time, I like to train teenagers in military sciences and leadership through Civil Air Patrol (CAP). I have been mentoring teenagers for 30 years. One thing you should know about me is I love helping others. My skills include elder care, patients with dementia symptoms and skills with dressing and showering when mobility is an issue.
