About Lisa

I have 5 years of experience. I have cared for patients with the following conditions: stroke, memory care, mental illness, Parkinson's, sundowning, swallowing issues, COVID, Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, hospice care and patient's who have suffered from falls. I have worked in a hospital setting and as a home caregiver. I am trained in ADL' s, physical therapy exercises, bowel care, Foley Catheter, condom catheter, and gate belt training. I am a former restaurant owner and pastry chef. I am experienced at preparing healthly meals. Yet on occasion I believe in serving the quality healthy food along with a dessert, if permitted. My father's motto was he would always rather have two desserts instead of one. "It's called living." Just even a small bite gives a boost to a persons day. I believe it is very important to be dependable and collaborate with the patient, family and the care team to keep a joyful and healing environment for everyone involved.
