About Lindy

I like working with kids because I love the liveliness, imagination, and energy that kids bring each day and I enjoy helping them learn and grow all in a supported and positive way. I'm looking for a job where I can build connections with children and their families, as well as getting to know more of the community. I started working with kids when 15 years old. I babysat for a family friend's 2 kids (age 4 and 6 at the time). I became a regular babysitter in their rotation until I moved out to Chico for college. In my spare time, I enjoy doing anything creative like crafts or baking. I find it relaxing and enjoyable to be creative with new ideas or recipes. I am very good at creating engaging activities for kids, whether they need encouragement to clean up or a cure for boredom. I am able to communicate well and be patient with kids. I am extremely responsible and prepared to keep children both safe and entertained.
