About Lindsey

Hi! My name is Lindsey and I'd describe my personality as kind, hardworking, and welcoming. I like working with kids because I have found that I connect with them in ways that not only allow them to have fun, but also that ensure they are safe. I started working with kids when I was about 12 years old, traveling to Boston to care for my cousin, a 5-year-old boy with low-functioning autism. From there, I would join my sister babysitting for experience, then began watching families on my own by the age of 15. My skills include making kids feel comfortable, calm, and being patient with them. One thing you should know about me is that your children will always be my #1 priority. I am CPR certified, and a qualified lifeguard, so I am comfortable with children in or around water, and am prepared for emergency situations. I'm looking for a job where I can care for children, allowing them and their guardians to feel comfortable. I am willing to cook, clean, drive, or teach children.
