About Lindsay

I am a mom, experienced nanny, and licensed teacher taking time off from school to be with my young kids (1 & 3. 5). I'd love the opportunity to support families in need of childcare by welcoming other little ones into our home. Currently, I am a learning specialist in a Montessori school, and I incorporate the Montessori method at home. I use a variety of math and language works as my older daughter becomes interested and develops her skills in these areas. I provide my kiddos with opportunities to do practical life work, like pouring water and caring for plants. I also cook together and are very familiar with food allergies. I teach social-emotional lessons through story and discussion to help littles ones label and manage their emotions. My kids also enjoy open play where they use their imaginations. .
