I've been working with children since I was in middle school (assisting in a ballet class) and that lead me to my passion of guiding and helping children. I graduated college with an Elementary Education degree, got my Orton-Gillingham certification, and I am a Montessori trained teacher for ages 6 years old - 12 years old. I don't have any children of my own and working with children outside of the school setting is something I enjoy. It allows me to connect with children and find out what they are passionate about and then I can use my teaching skills to help foster their confidence, developmental, and physical growth.
