About Lindsay

I have two younger sisters, one of which is special needs, so I grew up babysitting them and other kids in the neighborhood. I communicated with my sister using sign language, and volunteered with the special Olympics throughout childhood. I was a lifeguard as a teenager and into university, and began giving swim lessons then. I became a nanny in college, and a substitute teacher after graduation. I was also a counselor during the summers at a youths-experiencing-trauma camp. I have been a NOLS certified wilderness first responder for the last 15 years, but just recently re-certified in CPR/AED. I have since been a business owner, park ranger, and Sergeant for Denver Animal Protection. The safety and wellbeing of those in my care is of the upmost importance, as well as the health and enrichment. This means fostering curiosity, daily adventures in nature, preparing and eating healthy foods, exercising the mind as well as the body, and endless, unconditional love.
