I have worked in the past with two women . One was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The other had rheumatoid arthritis and had lost word retrieval due to early stages of Alzheimer's. I was a companion for both . One of the ladies I took out to lunch, shopping , made lunch, laundry and light housekeeping. I supervised in the bathroom while she was showering, and also in giving her medicines. The other woman I supervised with her meds and also eating because she choked very easily. I enjoy working with this population of the elderly. I feel I am a compassionate and caring person.
