I have worked 30+ years in Education with Elementary and Middle School students as well as College Teacher Education majors, teaching in private, public, and charter schools. I also have worked with Special Education students in TISD. I have been tutoring students for 15 years and homeschooled three students for the last five years. One of my former students advanced four grade levels in Reading since I began with him in second grade. I've had success in helping students with ADHD. I have also been successful in teaching math and writing skills--former students have won national writing awards. I'd LOVE to have the opportunity to help your student be successful as well!! Linda is remarkable. Her breadth of elementary education is vast & deep. Her willingness to customize teachings & experiences to the strengths & needs of the child are incredible. Linda is cost-effectively resourceful in finding & leveraging online worksheets & tools. She is organized, disciplined & wonderfully adaptable as well. Those demonstrated traits seem to fluidly transfer to my son, evolving important characteristics in him too. He understands her expectations to complete homework, come ready to learn when working with Ms. F & show respect & appreciation just as she mutually reciprocates with him. The 1:1 teaching benefits are tremendous. The two of them share great stories, laugh a lot & celebrate successes. As a family, we are in awe of & grateful for Linda. In addition to teaching across academic subjects, Linda teaches piano & beginning Spanish! She is a Renaissance Women - an avid learner, willing to share her love of learning with our son & other kiddos.
