About Madison

I have one semester of experience in one-on-one small group academic tutoring in ELAR. Twice at week at University Academy, I created and taught ELAR lesson plans for kindergarten students with the goal of reinforcing their foundational skills. Using differentiated instructional strategies that supported each students IEP and learning goals, I was able to track their progress throughout the week as we worked. This allowed me to adapt instruction and meet their individuals goals as developing readers and writers. While majority of my tutoring experience has been focused on literacy improvement, I also have skills in all other elementary subjects based on substitute and student teaching experiences.
