About Lily

Hi, my name is Lily! I am 25 years old with four years of experience teaching Early Childhood Special Education. I have a masters degree in special education and work mainly with children ages 3-5. Prior to teaching I worked with children ages 2-12 as a dance teacher, camp counselor, and Lego camp instructor. I focus on providing care that promotes independence, creativity, and a love of learning. I enjoy involving kids in everyday activities such as cooking and cleaning to develop life skills, process art activities and pretend play to foster creativity, and lots of reading to encourage cognitive and language development. I'm originally from West County but have spent the last several years in the Southeast Missouri area for school and work. I am very excited to be returning to the St. Louis area this summer! In my free time I enjoy attending yoga and pilates classes, reading, crafts, hanging out with my cat, and spending time with friends! I look forward to connecting with you!
