About Nick

My name is Nick and I am 26 years old. For the past seven years, I've worked with children in a variety of settings: day camp, overnight camp, public elementary school, public special education, traditional preschool, Montessori preschool, and in-home settings. The bulk of my experience is with ages 2-5 with some experience with infants and school age. I have a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in math. Working with children is my passion! I aim to guide children to be independent, kind, active, and aware of their own physical, social, academic, and emotional needs. I find joy in fueling a child's interests as well as inviting them to share my favorite experiences with me: cooking, exploring nature, reading, helping others, and making music. Here are few specialized services I can offer: -Swimming supervision/teaching -Diabetes care (I have a solid understanding of how to manage T1D and use pumps/CGMs; no medical certifications) -Montessori-style education -Basic music lessons
