I love working with kids and have had the honor of doing so across many occupations. I've worked as a teacher assistant, substitute teacher, and STAAR tutor. I held those positions within schools, and I was either running small group instruction or the whole class. I've also delivered highly specialized reading comprehension tutoring that uses research based on the roles of symbol imagery, phonemic awareness, and concept imagery in reading. Tutoring really is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I hope that I get to work with your student and help them see the bright future they have ahead as the work we do together proves to them how truly capable they are.

Liliana, became our homeschool teacher and met all of my hopes and standards for education my son for three and a half years. His love of learning and is in tact, he is excited about learning and feels successful in his education. He is now off to middle school but would like to continue with Liliana as a math tutor. The interpersonal relationship she has fostered with him is precious and supportive so we look forward to keeping her close and involved with his learning and development.
