About Danielle

Hi! I've been working with children since 2004 (volunteering with Big Brothers and Big Sisters as well as babysitting). I always knew I wanted to be an educator since a young age. I went to the University of Texas at Austin for my bachelors degree in Education and I am a certified bilingual teacher for Early Childhood through 4th grade. My passion is teaching children to read and developing their bilingualism. I taught bilingual/dual language kinder & 1st grade for 7 years and have now been an assistant principal for 5 years. In the near future I will be working on a PhD in the field of education (still deciding in what specific area) and my long term career goals are to work at the university level teaching and mentoring pre service teachers. I am seeking evening or weekend child care and/or tutoring jobs. My tutoring services include: Spanish and reading. I look forward to working with your kiddos!
