Hello. I may not have a lot of experience on paper but I have 5 years experience taking my landlord who is 85 years old. I have been administering her insulin shots and all of her medicine by mouth. I take her to all of her doctors appointments and I have been cooking and taking her to the grocery store when she needs to go. Her family trusts me. Most recently, I worked as a companion for a person with dementia for 40 hours a week for five years. Over the last 5 years, I have gotten plenty of experience taking care of elderly and I found that it is a great position for me. I have a lot of patience and am not afraid of a challenge.
