About Lia

I'm a nurturing and responsible childcare provider with eight years of experience working with children and young adults on the autism spectrum, both inside and outside of a classroom setting. I have home care experience with children between the ages of two and 10. My passion lies in fostering children's growth and development, and I strive to make a positive impact on their lives. I believe in patience, creativity, and a friendly approach when caring for children. I foster open communication with parents, providing regular updates and following their preferred method of communication. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. My favorite activities include exploring outdoors, crafting, puzzles, reading, and educational games. I also have experience with baking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping. I have taken coursework in early child development to further enhance my skills and knowledge.
