About Lex

Childcare has been a part of my life since I was a child myself. I have always gravitated towards infants, eventually becoming an NICU nurse, now for 9 years. With two decades of experience with kids newborn to 10 years, I have developed a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of children. I believe they have a lot to teach us about being present, listening, and the wonder of life we so often overlook. I believe in open and respectful communication with children. My Montessori schooling background helps me create a fun and nurturing environment for children to thrive. I want to foster an environment of mutual respect and understanding. I am happy to help with cooking (one of my love languages), meal prep, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. My expertise is in newborn care up to 2years but I feel comfortable caring for all ages.
