About Leslie

Hi! I am 18 years old. I just graduated high school and will be attending Saint Mary's College this fall majoring in pre-med. Throughout my high school experience I've worked with children in the summer and once the new school year begun. My days during the summer working consisted of, going on walks; distracting them from screen time. Also, doing arts and crafts and planning outside activities that included everyone. I often incorporated educational activities to improve their English skills since they were non native English speakers. Another experience I have is my summer job at the Oakland zoo camp. I worked with children ages 6-10. I organized a lot of arts and crafts and physical activities. A recent experience I have was taking care of my sister's newborn baby while she worked. Some of the qualities that I have is communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and reliability and trustworthiness. I'm fluent in English and Spanish and happy to help all children learn!
