Worked in nursing homes during college. Was administrative assistant in CA for 25 yrs in construction. Paralegal for 15 yrs in law firms. Cared for parents in between work for first part of decade. Became CNA in 2009-11 in CA and worked as in-home and often live-in caregiver to elderly clients in Marin and Sonoma. Was evening activities assistant in Lawrence from 2016-17 taking care of couple with wife having Parkinsons, 50 yr old man with polio, 26 yr old with cerebral palsy, 35 yr old quadriplegic, and numerous elderly clients from 80 and older. Recent client was 102. 5 yr old man who recently died. I worked for him for 3 yrs going on walks, meal prep and lunch across from his condo at an assisted living facility, meds, errands and doctor appts, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance of condo, interaction with family on both coasts, and companionship. Have worked for Trinity In-home Care since 2017 and have also worked for other agencies and thru other venues.
